EAGA Warm Deal Scheme
The Grant can provide up to £500 towards:
- cavity wall insulation
- loft, tank and pipe insulation
- draughtproofing
- four energy-efficient light bulbs
- energy advice
Grants are available:
- if you own or rent your own home
- if you are over 60 and in receipt of benefits.
Other grants:
- if you are aged 60 and not receiving any of the qualifying benefits, you could be entitled to a 25% grant of up to £125.
Applicant Requirements:
- the grant covers up to £500 worth of work carried out by appointed installers:
- if the work costs less than the grant available, the applicant won’t have to pay.
- if the work does cost more than the grant available, you will be asked to pay the difference and this will be agreed before the works starts.
Applying for a Grant
- firstly you apply for a no-obligation survey.
- an approved surveyor will visit your home
