Our Mission Statement

‘Tighean Innse Gall will enhance sustainable housing opportunities for individuals and communities and improve housing conditions throughout the Islands, and offer a high quality service to all clients.'

OBJECTIVES

We identify the following objectives:

1. to ensure the Management Committee is able to demonstrate effective control of all activities, that the work is supported by effective financial, administrative and management systems and that we are a good employer;
2.  to work in partnerships with other organisations and to seek new opportunities to diversify our work to meet our objectives.
3. to provide a high quality development service using any appropriate partnership, grant regime or development opportunity to develop affordable homes for rent or ownership and any associated facilities, in response to the housing needs of the Western Isles.
4. to provide a high quality development, finance and administrative support to the Hebridean Housing Partnership.
5. to deliver a high quality Western Isles Care and Repair Service to assist elderly or disabled owner occupiers to access the Scheme of Assistance to improve and repair their homes.
6. to deliver high quality energy efficiency measures and central heating systems to householders through Taigh Blath.
7. to offer an effective Energy Advice service to householders through our subsidiary TEAS and to reduce fuel poverty.
8. To ensure that all our activities meet our customer care values and service pledge standards.
